Afterglow⭐️

Stuck, unmoving like the shadow in a corner
Still waiting for the light to hit her feet
She sleep walks in mystery
She waits in a dreamlike place
Eyes masked in clouds
Tears filled up with the salty sea
Spiraling down the map of the world
Falling in love to falling apart
Skin bruised and ashamed
Lover's arms turn her away
Her hope grasps for air
She lay under the fall of autumn leaves
The winter knows her name
The spring has lost her again
The summer is in refrain
Four seasons on an endless repetitive rein
Somewhere only she knows
O' City Lights fly at such speed
She curls a smile when the sadness hits
She cries for the wind to carry her
The moon holds the face of his soul in Afterglow
The glimpse of a happy ending to reignite her heart

Fate of 500 miles

I don't feel right in my skin
Chilled Melon on my lips
Dazed and staring out in a  cool drift
Caught in the distant sunrise
Birds fly, rockets through the clouds and then dive
Lightning smile through a full sky of a star brigade
Heart lost in the questions of an endless night
I will always hold you but I will learn to let you go
The water makes its way round my head
Floating on the pieces of the past that keep you close
Homesick for the sound of your voice
Alone, without love to keep me safe
May the angels carry away the brokenness on their gentle wings
Resignation stills the compass of discovery
The Clockmaker stops time, He takes the story a tide away
Leaving the pain to ponder an honor of hope
Restless hands hold the daisies of daydreams
Plucking petal by petal to find where it may land
Harboring a sea of amorous thoughts
Falling into a fate of 500 miles

Lovesick Child

Lovesick child
Lips pursed, eyes so wild
Open ended questions
Stone wall suggestions
Bright lit star
My heart searches far
Don't burn out
Feet travel en route
My chest wrapped in lace
Sweet look on your face
There's always yesterday
Purest love held will stay
Finger tip to a rose petal
Prick of crimson will settle
Candle warm in flame
Night praises his name
The hesitation in the wind
Break of fear to contend
Skin of patience is weak
It sends delay to speak
Inhale to exalted scream
Suffer to keep this dream
Let your light shine down
Lay me down in this town
Life is harsh and unkind
Leave the world behind
Fall like the rain
Promise not to refrain
Wake up to the sun
Catch me, I'm on the run
Your hands hold me still
Surrender to unseen will

VAPOR

You are a vapor that has disappeared into thin air
Your silent withdraw left me to wander without a word to spare
Misted colors of your silhouette linger above my chest
Ghostly dreams haunt the memory that will never find solace or rest
Your living will melted into a life with mine
Only to be stolen without much time
Naked in fragility and the newness of love
I awake in anxiety to find I am below, separated from your body far above
Bursting in heightened emotion of loss
Laying in a wake of desire for our paths to someday cross

Light In Your Beacon

I don't want to be the secret you keep tucked into your leaflet
I want to shine bright in your eyes without shame
To hear you say my name without pain
If I am not the light in your beacon then cast me out while I am sleeping
Shackle my feet and send me into the waters deep
There I would rather be where the waves tuck me in and the moon sings to me
Alone I will exist without harm of human touch
True love my heart will begin to resist
I will not be the one who is accused of stealing
To cause your mind to start a path of reckless feeling
Back to a life of living on empty
I do not need your pity or your sympathy
Just in need of the warmth in your chest
But you are stuck in a life further west
Don't need a promise of today
Just a hope of a future to keep my suffering at bay

Blue Sparrow

Sparrow wrapped in shades of blue
Beauty stained on every feather
Mouth full of mournful hue
Soaring across the sky of red
Heavy fall of darkened weather
Pain purges the tomb that holds what's dead
Magnificence covered up in marred scars
Cruel World in colors of cooled dissidence
Dressed in unbreakable bars
Hope laid out on every dreamt thought
Waters raise on grounds beneath
Refuge kindly refines the wings that have sought

::Parisian Dream (Scripture)::

Your love is my scripture
I seek you as the wonderment set in picture
Found in a Parisian dream, an illuminated fixture
I know my words may seem broken
But to love you is my undivided token
Louder, my heart is longing, ear blooms for endearing words to be spoken
I could stay here forever and hold you this way
Make you my home without delay
Write a song to drift off the beak of a blue jay
Chimed strings sing in the wind to carry you on my lips
Your scent remains on the flesh of my finger tips
Your eyes crash into mine and sends my body into flamed flips
