Falling Slowly

I see the somber morning sunrise in your eyes
The flicker of warm sunlight dance upon your brow
Th ocean mist asleep on your lips
The angelic glow in your masculine skin

I am falling slowly
For you

Leave the light on
Draw me a map when I'm lost
These dreams keep speaking
An enlightenment of thought

I am falling slowly
For you

Carving words on a tree
Stretch my hand towards the night sky to hold the moon
Much like you
Hanging  in beautiful magnitude but out of touch

I am falling slowly
For you

Jump through my skin like the cool summer air
Whistling leaves sing
Your name
Sail off the edge of where the river meets sky
Find my arms waiting there

I am falling slowly
For you
