Afterglow⭐️

Stuck, unmoving like the shadow in a corner
Still waiting for the light to hit her feet
She sleep walks in mystery
She waits in a dreamlike place
Eyes masked in clouds
Tears filled up with the salty sea
Spiraling down the map of the world
Falling in love to falling apart
Skin bruised and ashamed
Lover's arms turn her away
Her hope grasps for air
She lay under the fall of autumn leaves
The winter knows her name
The spring has lost her again
The summer is in refrain
Four seasons on an endless repetitive rein
Somewhere only she knows
O' City Lights fly at such speed
She curls a smile when the sadness hits
She cries for the wind to carry her
The moon holds the face of his soul in Afterglow
The glimpse of a happy ending to reignite her heart
