Scarlet Sin

I have falsified the files of my mind
And fashioned the fibers of fantasy

Oh, how I pine for a place
In a photograph shared with you

My Hands are tied and confined
But my heart is wide open

The Outer depths of me darken
Dulling out astounding gleam

Turn me brighter inside of your sky
Set fire to my turned down smile

Your empire of charm is my dwelling
Rebuild me stone by stone, be near

I found strength in your healing words
Far from me now in subdued silence

I lay down across the keys of tombs
Waiting for an awakening kiss

But still I remain like hidden gold
In need of a lover to unearth

In all the pieces and scars
I would take the chance

To have you all over again
To wear you as my scarlet sin

ink

I am the forgotten face in your journey
The feather that flies away in a wreckage of flurry

The silent traveler that seeks your skin
Always hunting, never atop a win

You are the ink that bleeds from my pen
While your hands hold another place of zen

Church bells echo as an angel sings
A chorus of delight to polish your wings

Another moonlit flight without me
Mistaken, you mustn't be the beholder of the sea
