Dust of a dream

Dust of a dream

Dirt in hand
Don't look at what is seen
But think on what hope may spring
Focus not on what has died and turned to ash
Remember you are a daughter of a king
A majestic ruler of what is unseen
Be child like in your pursuit of life
Expectations that have rotted in morose
Remove disease from your heart
Let beauty bloom in excess belief
Hear a new song of relief
He has heard your broken regrets
He is close to your lifeless body
And will lift you up in arms of strength
Carry you on to a new day
Be satisfied in the small things
Do not let hardships steal your very life away
Pack the dust of disbelief in every crack
His rain return it to mud to heal your sight
Remember his promises
Feet take flight
