iNtOxIcAtIoN::

iNtOxIcAtIoN::
The intoxication of your love brought forth on the wings of a wearied dove
Sullen rain drops shower from the cloud above my head
Dust from golden sunset brings down every fallen star on the dusk of eve
Weighted cloak soaked from the deep waters of my stirring heart
Swimming in reflections of your face that glows over the sweltered surface
The wind stirs in the mood of your voice through every hanging leaf
Perfect circles of eyes within your bright outline
Lips that wait like sugared tulips on a budding stem
Your caress is the honey of healing that soothes my heavy soul
Waking dreams of your love comes in like peaceful waves that wash over me delicately

Sky Of Want

A pinch of thought
A colorful sky of want

Breathe you in
Swallow the water that falls off your chin

Your body is an island of cherished treasure
Your skin illuminates in majestic measure

The full bellied sun settles in your eyes
Full of fire, eyelids shut up cries

The ground is blessed beneath your feet
Your words are the finest fruit, irresistibly sweet

I fall into the stories of your mind
The memories that hold you ever so kind

Wishes On Feathers Fly

Wings wrapped in telephone wire
Persistent perseverance to a smothered fire

Not enough light let in
Causes distant paled skin

Rearrange thoughts for weeks
Sing sweet songs to ease agonizing shrieks

Quench thirst in sugared tears
Write down memories to feed the years

Slow dancing in snow drifts
The half life pulls for life's full kiss

Peacefully falling to the arms of chivalry
Chained words to a tree in living imagery

Steady hands, stilled breathing
Sacred sundown, render the love in which I'm reaching

In the endless ocean, in the raging sea
Your eyes see right through me

Run from the cold winds of fear
May wishes on feathers fly till you find me here

The Heart Collector

You play on every sign
Every beauty is deceptively inclined
In vampire seduction you create every line
Entrapping delicate flesh in charmed twine

You coldly hunt in prescient precision
Alter atmospheres in manipulative vision
Convincing her to make you her universal decision
Heart laid open, you make your first incision

Left alone in slumber
Her mind does wonder
Dizzied-delayed broken asunder
His deviled grip took all life & put her under

Luminaire

Luminaire

Red lights are all aglow
It's just like the universe to give a yielding no
To the hankering in the suspended colors
Is it a fantasy, is it of any wonder
To ponder the moment of being swept up in a hurricane
Carried away by the force of his name
The power of the clever master plan of his hand
Twisting and turning my wandering heart in the sand
Time drawing on me like a blade
His presence is heavy, his face will never fade
Worn linens of my skin have caressed his heart
Pressed undying lips to his dreams of art
Falling into the end
Green lights luminaire of where it began

Wallflower Existence

I think on him even though he does not think on me
This wallflower existence of estranged love that is floating amongst the sea
Tucked in tight to each folding wave
Singing into the shadows of a past I long to save
Where can I escape that I do not seek his eyes
I can not undo the knot that infinity ties
Bottled up in glass stretched walls
My deepest consent of his intrusion falls
I weaken in speech
Eloquent words fumble to mutters as he is too darling to reach
I dare not try as to ask why
I fall back into fear and turn my pink cheek shy
I step back into my most comfortable place
In the wallflower existence of time and space

Heavy In Dust

Will you always be out of reach
Painted smile of golden wheat
Your hands once taught
The love I sought
Without warning you disappeared
My eyes shut up & teared
Poetry pelted roughly against my soft soul
My hands recreated you in artistic coal
You skipped over me like a stone
My arms, you once cried, were your home
The most awakened memory of us
Now Buried heavy in dust
