How it Rings in my ear
Flashing words illuminate
Heat burnt in my lungs
Now you disappear
Amber residue of you
Your warm finger tips that stilled my skin
Once delicate
Now turn to cold sin
A chilling draft that runs down my spine
But you still shine
You are a reckless glory
Broken glass etches your name
You are vague but I still see your silhouette of frame
Your lips full of disdain
A lovers wasted domain
You steal the innocence of purity
I shake the heavy off my chest
Wash my hands of holding your shame
Move on although I love you
I leave this question to rest
I hold my head up, I hold no blame
