One More Time

I desire more of your attention
Your eyes pierce through me in amorous tension

You satisfy my mind with words falling from fruitful lips
Time fermented into sweet wine from which I sip

I memorize the bone of your cheek
I refrain from locked glance that releases what I speak

Secret soul ties in the minds eye
You left your finger print in blood red die

Without knowing, you understand
I spin in a repetitive dream of holding your hand

The elation of bodies wrapped in one
One smooth kiss and I am under your thumb

We walk through this world on a canvass of chrome
Unlike a journey most have known

Bathing in stars in moonlit baths
Encircled in candles from distant maps

Dancing on through delightful doorways
Spontaneous passages of Shakespearean plays

Drinking on the dew of despaired poetry
And falling recklessly in love with the waves of the sea

These visions rushed through me simply from catching your eyes on mine
I look away, remember you, and look back one more time
