The hollow my mind sinks into
Every fibrous core stirs awake sleeping hope
Delighted dahlia spring in esteem Finger tips brush over your brow
Magnificence dances upon your prominent cheek
My ear lay upon the chiseled perfection of your chest
Thumps drumming of a heartbeat serenade
Overcome by the heat of you
Safety in the walls of your embrace
The secrets kept hidden in the basin of your eyes
Inviting me to wander the depths of you
Keep wide the door to your heart
I'll find your light, I'll carry the weight
The war I must wane for your love
In time I will make you mine
Even if it only exists in lines of paper,
Folded into the confinement of leathered locks
